Television company
At ION Television I lead a team of 4 designers to execute large B2B campaigns to promote ION Television, ION Media, and Quobo. Along with many print materials, we worked on digital ads, slide presentations, and landing pages.
The Best-Kept Secret was a campaign we created to promote new shows that ION Television acquired, we developed a guerrilla marketing stunt displayed in NYC, many printed materials including billboards, bus posters, and digital ads. This role was my first experience managing a team and I learned invaluable lessons on managing expectations with stakeholders, as well as giving design direction to junior designers. I learned that when working with juniors I excel in building comradery, and teaching best practices in design.
We worked on several landing pages, and micro-sites. Now please remember this was 2011, we still used the word “micro-site”, and we used drop shadows liberally. I would do alot of things differently in 2023 if I were to design this same landing page.
We worked on several digital ads for this campaign. These were created in Flash, at the time that was the industry standard. If I were to create motion ads today I would use Figma or Photoshop.
